Born in the city of Ijuí, Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil, in October 1960, he is of German heritage. The artistic gift is a blood matter: his great-grandfather was a musician and his father a great designer and painter.
Along the years, he's worked in many places and in many fields, some of them being: designer at civil construction companies, designer at the Prefeitura Municipal de Ijuí/RS (City Hall) - (curiosity: in the 80's he drew the updated version of the city's map, we are currently looking for a copy of the map). From 1987 to 1989 he worked at a company of agricultural aviation, as a mechanics assistant. He also worked, for one year, at a company of aircraft maintenance, and also at the extinct Prince Airmodel ME (which exported airmodels to the USA and Europe, including the Starship airmodel).
After working at many different places throughout the years, he started working with ultralight aircrafts and has been doing so to this day.
In Atibaia/SP he worked at AirFox Ultraleves, where, besides finishing Curiango, he built, alongside colleges and apprentices, Zodiacs CH 601, CH 701 and CH 801.
Repairs and retouchings were done in many airplanes: Pelican, Seneca, Taylorcraft, Skybolt, Pitts, RV-9, RV-10, Stol King (Storch), Sinus, Pulsar, Quasar, Águia Kit Fox, Bravinho, Pietenpol, Conquest, Eagle, Vixen etc.

He made his first solo flight at the Aeroporto de Tupã/SP SDTP, with only 5:30 hours of instructions, in a Orion PU-OVO.
